Samsung has unveiled two new wireless speakers, Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, ahead of CES 2026. These models appear to replace the earlier Music Frame series, which doubled as a photo frame. The new speakers focus on delivering high-quality audio while complementing modern home interiors. Alongside these, Samsung also introduced advanced soundbars with clearer and more natural sound output.
Music Studio 5: Stylish Design With Balanced Sound
The Music Studio 5 (LS50H) features a photo gallery-inspired design that fits seamlessly into any room. It is a 2.1-channel wireless speaker with two tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. Tuned by Samsung Audio Lab, it offers a balanced audio experience with a waveguide system. Its AI Dynamic Bass Control enhances bass performance while minimizing distortion even at high volume. This model is wireless but not portable, making it ideal for living rooms or home offices.
Music Studio 7: Premium Bookshelf Speaker With Advanced Features
The Music Studio 7 (LS70H) sports a traditional bookshelf speaker design and comes in black and white finishes. It offers a 3.1.1-channel configuration, including front, left, right, and top-firing tweeters along with a woofer. Its super tweeter reproduces frequencies up to 35kHz, providing exceptional high-frequency details. Meanwhile, the woofer uses AI Dynamic Bass Control to deliver deep, distortion-free bass. The speaker also supports Q-Symphony, enabling wireless pairing with Samsung TVs and soundbars for enhanced stereo or full surround sound. Additionally, it features Hi-Res Audio up to 24-bit/96kHz.
Connectivity and Smart Features
Both Music Studio speakers include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, allowing wireless music casting from compatible devices. While support for AirPlay and Spotify Connect is likely, Samsung has not confirmed it yet. Both models also offer voice control and Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) for Bluetooth streaming from Samsung phones or tablets. Users can manage settings and playback using the SmartThings app for seamless integration with other smart home devices.
Availability and CES 2026 Reveal
Further details about the Music Studio series will be shared at CES 2026, starting January 6, 2026. Samsung has not announced plans for a second-generation Music Frame. These new speakers emphasize design, connectivity, and audio performance, catering to audiophiles who value aesthetics in home environments.
