Changan has officially unveiled the AVATR 11 in Pakistan. This launch marks another major milestone in the countryโs growing electric vehicle market. Previously, Master Changan entered the premium EV space with the Deepal S07 and L07. Now, the company is stepping even higher with AVATR.
Although both Deepal and AVATR are electric sub-brands of Changan, they serve different audiences. Deepal targets tech-focused mainstream buyers. AVATR, however, represents Changanโs high-end luxury EV brand. It aims to compete directly with established German luxury manufacturers.
The AVATR 11 also carries historical significance. It was the first model launched globally by AVATR in August 2022. Today, it becomes the brandโs debut offering in Pakistan.
What Makes AVATR a Flagship Luxury EV Brand
AVATR is not just another electric vehicle brand. It is the result of a powerful joint venture. Changan partnered with Huawei and CATL, the worldโs leading battery manufacturer. Together, they developed a brand focused on innovation, performance, and premium design.
Huawei contributes advanced digital systems and smart driving technology. CATL supplies next-generation battery solutions. Changan brings decades of automotive engineering experience. As a result, AVATR delivers a unique blend of intelligence, luxury, and efficiency.
Globally, AVATR positions itself against luxury European brands. Its focus remains on futuristic design, intelligent mobility, and long-range electric performance. With the AVATR 11, Pakistani buyers now get access to this global vision.
Design, Performance, and Huawei-Powered Technology
Design stands out as the strongest feature of the AVATR 11. The vehicle was designed under Nader Faghihzadeh, a former BMW designer. He previously worked on the BMW 7 Series and 6 Series. His influence is clearly visible in the AVATR 11โs sleek and futuristic styling.
The AVATR 11 features a 116.79 kWh battery pack. This is large for a mid-size electric SUV. It delivers an impressive 578 km WLTP range. Under the NEDC standard, the range reaches up to 680 km. Long-distance travel becomes stress-free. A Lahore to Islamabad trip is possible on a single charge.
The Pakistan-bound variant comes with rear-wheel drive. It produces 308 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes around 6.6 seconds.
Huaweiโs DriveONE iTRACK 800V system enables ultra-fast charging. With a compatible supercharger, drivers can gain 200 km of range in just 10 minutes.
Ultra-Luxury Interior and Advanced Features
Inside the cabin, AVATR 11 truly earns its luxury status. The interior uses Nappa leather and a suede roof lining. Three screens dominate the dashboard. These include a 10.25-inch driver display, a 15.6-inch central screen, and a 10.25-inch passenger display.
The vehicle also features a 25-speaker Meridian sound system. Comfort remains a priority. Front seats offer zero-gravity design, heating, ventilation, massage, and memory functions. Rear seats also include heating and ventilation.
Advanced safety features include six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and smart parking assistance.
Price and Market Expectations
Changan has not announced the official price of the AVATR 11 in Pakistan yet. Booking and pricing details are expected soon. However, expectations remain high given the vehicleโs premium positioning and feature list.
The AVATR 11 signals a new chapter for luxury electric mobility in Pakistan.
