The event, held on Thursday, December 4, marked a significant milestone in Indian cinema as a life-size bronze statue of the legendary couple was unveiled at Leicester Square.
The ceremony was part of London’s Scenes in the Square trail, honouring iconic film characters, with DDLJ becoming the first Indian film to receive such recognition.
Fans across social media quickly shared photos and videos of SRK and Kajol posing alongside their statues, celebrating three decades of the beloved film and its timeless characters.
Kajol looked stunning in a vibrant ocean-blue saree, while Shah Rukh Khan appeared sharp in a classic black suit.
