Geo Super has partnered with the online streaming platform Myco to provide comprehensive coverage of all International Cricket Council (ICC) events in Pakistan through 2027, the ICC confirmed on Thursday. This collaboration ensures that cricket fans across the country can access extensive television and digital coverage of top-tier men’s and women’s international cricket.
Under the agreement, Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) will hold the broadcast and digital rights for ICC events in Pakistan in partnership with Geo Super and Myco. Geo Super will deliver television coverage, while Myco will manage digital streaming, working alongside leading online platforms to reach audiences nationwide.
The rights period covers a broad array of ICC global events, including three senior men’s tournaments, two senior women’s tournaments, and a series of U19 competitions, underscoring Pakistan’s role as a key cricket market.
ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta highlighted Pakistan’s significance, stating that the country is one of cricket’s most passionate and vibrant markets. He noted that the new media rights agreement will provide fans with world-class access to marquee events and enriched viewing experiences across both broadcast and digital platforms.
Myco Managing Director Umair Masoom expressed pride in the partnership, noting that being entrusted with ICC events through 2027 reflects Myco’s growing position as a leading digital entertainment ecosystem in Pakistan.
The upcoming events under this partnership include major men’s tournaments such as the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in England, and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
U19 Men’s Cricket World Cups in 2026 (Zimbabwe & Namibia) and 2028 (TBC) are also included. For women, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England, the ICC Women’s T20 Champions Trophy 2027 in Sri Lanka, and the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 in Bangladesh and Nepal are part of the coverage plan.
This strategic partnership between Geo Super, PTV, and Myco ensures that Pakistani cricket fans will enjoy seamless and high-quality access to the full spectrum of ICC events for years to come.
