Actress Celina Jaitly, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, has resurfaced in the headlines after filing a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag. The complaint was submitted to the Andheri court in Mumbai, drawing widespread public attention.
According to reports, Celina, a mother of three, has accused Haag of domestic violence, manipulation, and cruelty. The matter was reviewed this week by Judicial Magistrate First Class SC Tadye for verification and issuance of notice.
Celina is seeking ₹50 crore in damages, along with additional compensation for what she claims are significant personal and financial losses, as confirmed by ANI.
The couple, married in 2011, have three sons. Their elder twins, Winston and Viraaj, were born in 2012, followed by a second set, Shamsher and Arthur, in 2017. Tragically, Shamsher passed away due to a congenital heart condition.
The case emerges amid ongoing family issues involving Celina’s brother, Major (retired) Vikrant Jaitly, whom she claims was unlawfully taken into custody in the UAE in September 2024.
