Dubai Airshow 2025 set a record with billions of dollars deals and massive participation from the key stakeholders. The airshow closed with record-breaking agreements worth $202 billion, the Dubai government and event organisers announced today. It marked a historic milestone for the global aviation industry. The deal value is double the amount secured in 2023, underscoring the event’s rapid growth and widening international influence.
This year’s edition also set a new attendance record, drawing 248,788 visitors from across the world, including Pakistan. With 1,500 exhibitors and delegations from 115 countries, the Airshow further cemented Dubai’s position as a leading hub for aviation, defence and space technologies.
Strong Pakistani Presence
Pakistan maintained a prominent presence at the event. The Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 fighter jet drew significant attention for its performance and capabilities, while the Super Mushshak trainer aircraft continued to attract interest from foreign delegations.
Defence experts and military officials who visited Pakistan’s pavilion praised the PAF for its professionalism and operational expertise.
Major Orders Announced
Dubai’s national carrier Emirates confirmed aircraft orders worth $41.4 billion, while low-cost airline FlyDubai signed a $13 billion deal for new Boeing jets. Etihad Airways also took part in the event, making the Airshow a key platform for regional aviation expansion.
Growing Focus on Space
The 2025 edition featured the Airshow’s largest-ever Space Pavilion, hosting more than 50 astronauts and international experts for discussions on future space missions and emerging technologies. Organisers said the show, held under the theme “The Future is Here,” showcased next-generation innovations and reinforced Dubai’s status as a major global aviation and aerospace hub.
Dubai Airshow 2025, nevertheless, ended with a tragic crash of Indian fighter jet Tejas and killing of the pilot.
