Riphah International University inaugurated its 20th Convocation at the Islamabad Convention Centre with grandeur, marking a milestone in academic achievement and international collaboration.
The two-day event, beginning today, will see 2,860 students receiving their degrees, celebrating years of dedication, hard work, and scholarly excellence. Newly enrolled Palestinian students also attended, highlighting the university’s global outreach and commitment to international education.
The ceremony was attended by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, who served as the chief guest, alongside Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad, faculty members, graduates, and proud families. The presence of key dignitaries underscored the importance of the event and Riphah’s growing stature in the national and international academic community.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad congratulated the graduates, emphasizing Riphah’s dedication to student development through exchange programs and a focus on ethical values and character-building. He remarked, “My prayer is that our graduates play an active role in every field of life and continue to make the nation proud.”
Chancellor Hassan Muhammad Khan acknowledged the graduates’ achievements and the sacrifices of their families, highlighting their role in shaping the future of Pakistan. He stated, “You are the future of Pakistan, and it is your responsibility to take the country forward.”
Chief Guest Sardar Muhammad Yousaf lauded the graduates for earning their professional degrees and encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to society. He also highlighted the presence of Palestinian students, reflecting Riphah’s international recognition and commitment to global education initiatives.
