The Dubai Airshow, one of the worldโs largest and most influential aviation events, is set to open tomorrow (Monday), bringing together top military and commercial aircraft from across the globe.
Organisers have confirmed that all arrangements are complete and the venue is ready to welcome thousands of industry experts, defence officials and aviation enthusiasts.
This year, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots are expected to be a major highlight of the week-long show. Aviation analysts say the PAFโs performance in recent operations has drawn significant international attention, with global air forces closely observing Pakistanโs advancements in training, precision flying and operational readiness. They note that PAF pilots have earned strong praise for their discipline, execution and ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
The airshow will offer a full schedule of aerial displays, formation flights and aerobatic demonstrations. Experts predict that PAF performances will rank among the most anticipated displays of the event, providing Pakistan with an important opportunity to showcase its growing air power and technological progress to an international audience.
Several major defence players will also be exhibiting advanced systems. Organisers have confirmed that China will showcase its latest air defence technology, signalling its continued challenge to Western and US defence capabilities. Russian aerospace firms are also expected to participate, bringing a variety of military aircraft and systems to the display lineup.
Pakistanโs participation will extend beyond aerial demonstrations. The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) will present its latest aircraft technologies and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Aerospace Council will represent the countryโs wider aviation and defence manufacturing sector.
Industry observers anticipate significant commercial activity throughout the event, with projections of nearly 300 new aircraft orders. Such deals could influence global aviation trends and reshape competitive dynamics in both military and commercial markets.
