RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allowed fans to use previously purchased tickets for the rescheduled One Day Internationals (ODIs) between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The board made this announcement after confirming the revised schedule for the remaining matches of the series.
Spectators can use tickets issued for November 13 to attend the second ODI, now scheduled for November 14 in Rawalpindi. Similarly, tickets bought for November 15 will be valid for the third ODI, now to be played on November 16 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
The PCB thanked cricket fans for their patience and cooperation during the schedule changes. It also appreciated their continued support for international cricket in Pakistan.
Sri Lanka Told to Complete Pakistan Tour
Sources in the Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) said players who abandon the ongoing tour will face a two-year ban. The warning came after some members of the Sri Lankan squad reportedly sought permission to return home early.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met the Sri Lankan High Commissioner and the team manager in Islamabad to resolve the issue. During the meeting, he assured the visitors of foolproof security arrangements throughout their stay in Pakistan.
Naqvi guaranteed that the Sri Lankan players would receive the highest level of protection and hospitality. Following the meeting, the SLC management instructed all players to complete the tour as per schedule.
Tri-Nation Series Shifted to Rawalpindi
The PCB has also moved all matches of the upcoming tri-nation series, featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, to Rawalpindi. The decision aims to ensure smooth logistics and enhanced security for all participating teams.
The second ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take place tomorrow in Rawalpindi, marking a key fixture in the three-match series.
