Legendary Bollywood actress Dharmendra was discharged from Hospital this morning. He was getting medical treatment at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Now Dharmendra will continue his treatment at home.
Dr. Pratit Samdani confirmed that the 89-year-old actor, who had been admitted several times in recent weeks, was released on Wednesday morning. “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7:30 am. He will continue treatment at home, as per the family’s decision,” Dr. Samdani told Indian media.
Family Reassures Fans About Dharmendra’s Health
The discharge followed a wave of speculation on social media after videos of ambulances outside Dharmendra’s residence went viral. Rumors claiming the actor had passed away were quickly dismissed by his family.
His wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol took to social media to reassure fans that the actor is stable, recovering, and responding well to treatment. They thanked fans for their prayers and support during his hospitalization.
Bollywood Stars Visit Dharmendra in Hospital
Throughout his hospital stay, Dharmendra received strong support from family and colleagues. Sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, daughter Esha Deol, and nephew Abhay Deol frequently visited him at the hospital.
The veteran actor also received visits from several Bollywood stars. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan visited on Monday night, while Aamir Khan and his partner Gauri Spratt stopped by on Tuesday evening to wish him a speedy recovery.
