Trump revealed the decision after a joint call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He shared the news on Truth Social, saying, “We will soon announce a Signing Ceremony to make it official.” Trump also added that “many more countries” are eager to join this “club of strength.”
US Expands Influence in Central Asia
Earlier on Thursday, Trump hosted Tokayev and four other Central Asian leaders at the White House. The meeting marked Washington’s latest effort to strengthen its influence in a region long dominated by Russia and increasingly courted by China. The discussion focused on enhancing economic cooperation, regional stability, and mutual security interests.
