Actor Zahid Ahmed appeared on Excuse Me with Ahmad Ali Butt, sharing his views on career choices, family, and social media.
Known for being selective about his roles, Zahid made it clear that he avoids projects that promote vulgarity. Speaking about the controversial reality show Lazawal Ishq,
he said, “I will never endorse any show that promotes vulgarity.” He also noted that little is known about the production team behind it, with reports suggesting involvement from a Turkish company.
Zahid criticized the show’s concept of matchmaking, calling it against Islamic values and claiming it carries an “evil agenda.” He also expressed his dislike for social media, calling it harmful and un-Islamic.
Zahid stated that creators of these platforms “will burn in hell,” clarifying that he meant the platforms’ architects, not individual users. He emphasized that influencers flaunting wealth online contradict Islamic teachings.
