LOS ANGELES — Hollywood star Chris Evans is embracing his newest and most cherished role yet — that of a proud father.
The Captain America actor and his wife, Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Alma Grace, on October 24, 2025, according to People magazine.
Sources close to the couple told the outlet that Evans is “completely in awe” of his daughter and adjusting happily to fatherhood.
“Chris is completely in awe of his daughter,” the insider said. “He’s been soaking in every quiet moment and couldn’t be more proud to be a girl dad.”
Evans, 44, and Baptista, 28, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Massachusetts in September 2023, surrounded by close friends and family.
The Marvel star had previously spoken about his desire to start a family, telling People at the time, “That’s absolutely something I want — a wife, kids, building a family.”
Now, it seems the actor’s long-held dream has come true, as he enjoys life as a devoted husband and new father.
