Former model credits spiritual healing and Quranic recitation for her recovery from early-stage lymphoma.
Former Pakistani supermodel and actress Vaneezah Ahmed has opened up for the first time about her battle with early-stage cancer, revealing that she fully recovered without undergoing medical treatment. The renowned model attributed her healing to spiritual prayers and the recitation of Quranic verses, saying that faith played a pivotal role in restoring her health.
During her recent appearance on a morning show, Vaneezah candidly discussed her health journey, disclosing that she was diagnosed years ago with stage zero lymphoma, a type of cancer affecting the lymphatic system. At the time, she said, she was at the peak of her career, traveling the world for modeling assignments and fashion shows. “I never imagined I could fall ill,” she shared. “I was always active, healthy, and living a busy, fulfilled life.”
From Persistent Headaches to a Shocking Diagnosis
Vaneezah recounted how her illness began with severe headaches during a period of frequent travel between Malaysia, America, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan. While working for Sun TV, she missed an interview due to her worsening condition. Concerned, the channel owner arranged a medical check-up with Dr. Juma, who initially suspected meningitis and admitted her to a hospital for further tests.
However, when her condition failed to improve and her neck lymph nodes became swollen, doctors conducted additional examinations and diagnosed her with early-stage lymphoma. “It was shocking,” Vaneezah recalled. “I couldn’t believe I had cancer. I didn’t even fully understand what lymphoma was at the time.”
Faith, Prayer, and a Miraculous Recovery
Two weeks after the diagnosis, a close friend introduced her to a spiritual woman who guided her through specific Quranic recitations and prayers. Following this spiritual routine with devotion, Vaneezah said she began to feel her health improving dramatically.
“I didn’t undergo any surgery or chemotherapy,” she said. “Through prayers, faith, and spiritual worship, my disease disappeared completely. Since then, I have lived a healthy and peaceful life.”
Emphasizing her belief in spiritual healing, Vaneezah noted that while medical science is vital, faith and prayer can also be powerful sources of strength and recovery. “Healing comes in many forms,” she said. “Sometimes it’s medicine, and sometimes it’s the power of belief and connection with God.”
Her story serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience of faith and the inner peace that spirituality can bring, even in the face of life’s most daunting challenges.
