The gathering featured notable global and national participants, including Lord Amir Sarfaraz of Kensington from the UK House of Lords and General Patrick Sander, whose insights were commended as valuable contributions to the Advisory Board’s discussions.
Lord Sarfaraz’s participation was particularly recognized for his advocacy of Pakistan–UK relations and efforts to strengthen bilateral understanding and investment cooperation.
UK-based investors were specially invited to explore tourism and hospitality opportunities in Pakistan, with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) highlighted as a one-window platform to streamline foreign investment processes.

The Senate leadership reaffirmed its commitment to advancing tourism through legislative measures, oversight, and diplomatic outreach.
Senator Sherry Rehman, Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Climate Change, emphasized that tourism fosters cultural understanding and global connectivity, serving as a soft power tool to promote a positive image of Pakistan abroad.
Pakistan’s Expanding Role in Parliamentary Diplomacy
Ambassador to the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers Conference (ISC), Ms. Misbah Khar, briefed attendees on the upcoming ISC in November 2025, which will host speakers from 45 countries under the theme “Peace, Security and Development.”
The conference aims to enhance Pakistan’s leadership role in international parliamentary diplomacy, promoting dialogue on shared global challenges and opportunities.
