The gold price in Pakistan surged on Monday, October 6, 2025, as the 24-karat tola rose to Rs415,278, up by Rs5,400, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
10 grams of 24-karat gold increased to Rs356,033 (+Rs4,629), while 10 grams of 22-karat gold reached Rs326,375 (+Rs4,243). Analysts link the rise to higher international gold rates and changes in the interbank exchange rate.
Global gold prices climbed by $54 to $3,940 per ounce due to financial market uncertainty and inflation concerns, driving local prices higher.
Silver also saw gains, with 24-karat silver tola at Rs4,949 (+Rs53) and 10 grams at Rs4,242 (+Rs45). International silver reached $48.50 per ounce (+$0.53).
With ongoing global fluctuations, the gold price in Pakistan is expected to remain strong in the coming days.
