Actress Breaks Silence After Months of Rumors
Pakistani television actress Sara Umair has officially confirmed her divorce from director Mohsin Talat. She revealed the news during her recent appearance on a reality show aired by a private TV channel. The announcement marked her first public statement on the matter, ending months of speculation.
Career Highlights Before Marriage
Sara Umair entered the entertainment industry in 2008 with her debut on PTV. She later earned recognition for her versatility in several popular dramas. She also rose to fame after winning the reality show Desi Kadiyaan. In 2014, Sara stepped away from acting following her marriage to Mohsin Talat. She shifted her focus entirely to family life at that stage.
Divorce and Personal Struggles
Sara revealed that her divorce occurred a few months before she joined the reality show Tamasha. She explained that both she and her ex-husband worked in the same field, which made avoiding professional interactions challenging. Speaking candidly, she said, “I think I should tell everyone now that I have been divorced. It happened a few months before coming to Tamasha. I was under mental stress and had to face many problems as a single parent.”
Reality Show as an Escape
According to Sara, participating in Tamasha offered her much-needed relief. She described the experience as an escape from daily pressures. “There was no phone, no connection with the outside world, no meetings. I always wanted to spend some time in a place where there were no signals, and Allah gave me this opportunity,” she shared.
Strength Through Adversity
Reflecting on her resilience, Sara highlighted how life had prepared her for challenges. “I have seen so many difficulties in my life that Tamasha was just a game for me. When I saw people fighting there, everything seemed childish,” she added. Her remarks showed strength and maturity as she faced a new chapter in her life.
