Up to Rs400,000 subsidy, interest-free loans for e-bikes and e-rickshaws under NEV Policy 2025–30
In a major push toward sustainable mobility and relief from rising fuel costs, the Government of Pakistan has officially launched a subsidized electric vehicle (EV) scheme under the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Policy 2025–30. This initiative, led by the Ministry of Industries and Production, sets aside Rs4 billion in subsidies to promote the use of electric motorcycles and rickshaws, while also supporting the development of EV infrastructure, including charging stations.
🔋 Key Benefits Under the EV Scheme

Rs80,000 subsidy for each electric motorcycle.

Rs400,000 subsidy for electric cargo rickshaws.

Interest-free loans of up to Rs200,000, repayable over two years.

Monthly installments ranging from Rs6,250 to Rs8,333.

Special focus on students and low-income workers who cannot afford upfront payments.
Who Can Apply?
The scheme is open to Pakistani citizens aged 18 to 65 with the following conditions:

A valid CNIC.

Either a learner’s permit or a motorcycle driving license.

Selection Process
