Saudi Arabia’s leading budget airline, Flyadeal, has officially launched direct flights to Islamabad and Peshawar, marking a major milestone in its expansion into the Pakistani aviation market. The low-cost carrier aims to meet the growing demand for affordable and convenient travel options between the two nations, especially benefiting the large Pakistani expatriate community in Riyadh.
The inaugural flight from Riyadh to Peshawar landed at Bacha Khan International Airport on August 25, 2025, where it was welcomed with a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony organized by Menzies RAS. The event took place at the airport’s International Departure Lounge and was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Airport Security Force (ASF), and Menzies RAS.
Flyadeal will now operate two weekly flights between Riyadh and Peshawar, scheduled every Monday and Wednesday, offering greater flexibility and accessibility for travelers.
