  • Two men booked after three boys electrocuted in Jhal Magsi

Two men, including an official of the (Qesco), were booked under different sections of the Pakistan Penal Code after a child was killed and two others received injuries when they were electrocuted by electricity wires of a main supply line laying on the ground in Panjak area of Jhal Magsi district, Balochistan.

  • Punjab to establish separate schools for transgender community

Addressing a ceremony of the Insaf Afternoon School Programme in Lahore, the Education minister said that the government had decided not to enroll transgender persons in regular schools due to reservations regarding the behavior of other students. He added that the attitude of students of regular schools could be insulting towards the transgender community, which is why separate schools would be established for them.
