Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev shared a moment of brotherhood and unity following the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the three leaders took an informal walk together, exchanging warm words and reflecting on their shared ties.
During the walk, President Aliyev highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Khankendi, explaining its rich architectural heritage to his counterparts.
In a symbolic act underscoring the close relationship among Pakistan, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan, the leaders walked hand in hand, demonstrating mutual respect and solidarity.
Afterward, President Aliyev personally drove Prime Minister Sharif to the historic city of Shusha, where a special luncheon was hosted in his honor.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Azerbaijan as head of the Pakistani delegation participating in the ECO Summit, aimed at enhancing regional economic cooperation and strengthening diplomatic ties.
