LAHORE: Pakistan has launched its first international driving license kiosk at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, offering quick and convenient access to travelers heading abroad.
The facility was officially inaugurated by Lahore’s Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr. Muhammad Athar Waheed, marking a significant step in modernizing public services.
This is the first traffic kiosk of its kind to be installed at any international airport in the country. Designed for speed and efficiency, the self-service kiosk allows citizens to obtain their international driving license in just five minutes.
The license enables Pakistani travelers to legally drive in 132 countries, making it a valuable asset for those working, studying, or touring overseas.
Authorities say the initiative will greatly ease the process for outbound passengers and support global mobility for Pakistani nationals.
