Private Ceremony
American actor Allison Williams has quietly tied the knot with her longtime partner, German actor Alexander Dreymon, after nearly six years of a low-profile but enduring relationship.
The news of their marriage comes just days after Williams, 37, casually referred to Dreymon, 42, as her “husband” in a recent interview, sparking speculation that was soon confirmed by an international celebrity magazine.
This marks Williams’ second marriage. She was previously wed to Ricky Van Veen, the co-founder of CollegeHumor and a former Facebook executive, from 2015 until their amicable divorce in 2019.
Later that same year, she met Dreymon while working together on the 2020 survival thriller “Horizon Line”, a project that not only brought them on-screen chemistry but also sparked a romantic connection off-screen.
Alexander Dreymon is widely known for his portrayal of Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the critically acclaimed British historical drama “The Last Kingdom”, a role that earned him a loyal fan base and significant recognition in the international television landscape. Despite his rising fame, Dreymon, much like Williams, has preferred to keep his personal life away from the public eye.
The couple reportedly got engaged almost three years ago and have shared very limited details about their personal milestones. One of the most significant of these was the birth of their first child, a son, in November 2021. They managed to keep the news private until April 2022, when they revealed their new journey into parenthood.
Later in 2022, Williams and Dreymon made their relationship red carpet official at the premiere of “M3GAN”, a horror-comedy film produced by Williams.
That appearance confirmed what many had speculated for months—that the couple was not only deeply committed but also ready to share their joy with the world.
Their wedding, much like the rest of their relationship, was kept out of the spotlight. No further details about the ceremony have been made public. However, friends close to the couple say the event was intimate and aligned with their shared preference for privacy.
Their love story—quiet, consistent, and built away from the glare of public scrutiny—has now culminated in a new chapter of marriage, strengthening a bond that began on a film set and has since grown into a loving family unit.
