In the early hours of Wednesday, a spontaneous demonstration erupted at Tehran’s Palestine Square as citizens gathered to denounce the Israeli regime’s recent military actions.
The protest reflected a wave of public anger following a series of Israeli strikes that targeted residential areas in Tehran, as well as military and nuclear facilities across Iran, during the early hours of June 13.
The attacks resulted in the martyrdom of several high-ranking military officials, nuclear scientists, and numerous civilians, sparking outrage and calls for accountability.
In retaliation, Iran launched multiple waves of missile strikes against Israeli targets, escalating an already volatile regional situation.
Tensions further intensified on Monday when Israel reportedly carried out a fresh airstrike targeting a building belonging to Iran’s state broadcaster, IRIB, in central Tehran. The building, which houses the broadcaster’s news department, was hit by at least four bombs during a live news broadcast.
The Iranian government and citizens alike have condemned what they describe as escalating acts of aggression by the Zionist regime, vowing to respond with strength and resilience.
