A Pakistan Express train traveling from Karachi to Rawalpindi derailed between Mubarakpur and Kalanchwala, causing two coaches, the dining car’s trolley, and a tire to come off the tracks.
Railway officials confirmed that all passengers remained unharmed, with no injuries reported in the incident.
Following the derailment, train operations at several nearby stations have been temporarily suspended as a precautionary measure.
According to a railway spokesperson, a relief operation is underway. Affected passengers have been safely relocated from the dining car to the front coaches to ensure their continued safety and comfort.
