Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif concluded his three-day official visit to Azerbaijan on Thursday and departed for Tajikistan, marking the final leg of his four-nation diplomatic tour.
At Lachin International Airport, the prime minister was bid farewell by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin, and other diplomatic representatives.
During his stay in Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Shehbaz held a bilateral meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, participated in the Pakistan-Türkiye-Azerbaijan Trilateral Summit, and took part in Azerbaijan’s Independence Day celebrations.
In Dushanbe, the prime minister is scheduled to attend an international conference on glacier preservation, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to climate action and environmental cooperation.
