Judge adjourns proceedings until May 22; hearings in related cases set for May 24
RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday heard proceedings in the May 9 GHQ attack case, with Judge Amjad Ali Shah presiding over the session.
After a brief hearing, the judge adjourned the case until May 22, while proceedings in 11 other cases linked to the May 9 unrest were rescheduled for May 24.
The court allowed the accused to mark their attendance and leave.
Prominent among those who appeared were former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed, PTI leaders Zartaj Gul and Kanwal Shauzab, along with several co-defendants.
Prosecutor Zaheer Shah appeared on behalf of the state, supported by his legal team.
