The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has accused India of actively supporting terrorism, both within Pakistan and abroad. Speaking to the international media, he stated that terrorist camps were operating inside India and that Indian officials themselves have made admissions about backing militant elements in Balochistan.
He asserted that New Delhi is involved in terror financing and is sponsoring cross-border terrorism, particularly through support for banned groups operating inside Pakistan, including the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), often referred to as โFitna al Khawarij.โ
“Indiaโs role in terrorism extends beyond Pakistanโs bordersโit is also implicated in incidents in countries like Canada,” the spokesperson added.
He went on to claim that one of the key objectives behind the Pahalgam incident and Indiaโs subsequent actions was to divert the attention of Pakistanโs armed forces and intelligence agencies from ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
“The government of Pakistan, along with its armed forces and security institutions, is steadily tightening the net around Indian-sponsored terrorism,” he said. “These provocations aim to distract us from that effort, but they will not succeed. The time has come to hold the Indian government accountable.”
