ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan today reported 31% growth in the inflows of remittances in 10 months of the ongoing fiscal year 2024-25.
Cumulatively, with an inflow of US$ 31.2 billion from July 2024 to April 2025, workersโ remittances increased by 31 percent compared to US$ 23.9 billion received during Jul-Apr FY24.
Meanwhile, the remittances recorded an inflow of US$ 3.2 billion during April 2025.ย
- In terms of growth, remittances increased by 13.1 percent on y/y basis.
- Remittances inflows during April 2025 were mainly sourced from Saudi Arabia ($725.4 million), United Arab Emirates ($657.6 million), United Kingdom ($535.3 million) and United States of America ($302.4 million).
