ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar announced that the Indian Army has been compelled to raise the white flag at multiple points along the Line of Control (LoC), including the Chora Complex post, signaling a withdrawal and tacit admission of defeat. โEven Indian media has aired footage of their destroyed aircraft โ the truth can no longer be concealed,โ he stated.
Prime Minister Closely Monitoring Developments
Tarar added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remained engaged throughout the night, receiving real-time updates from the military leadership. The Prime Minister has scheduled a National Security Committee (NSC) meeting for 10 a.m. Wednesday to review the situation and determine Pakistanโs next strategic and diplomatic moves.
Nation Stands United Behind Armed Forces
Highlighting national solidarity, Tarar stressed that the entire Pakistani nation stands firmly behind its armed forces. โWhen united, the Pakistani people deliver a decisive response to any aggressor. Today, we salute the courage and professionalism of our army, navy, and air force,โ he said.
He emphasized that the prayers and unwavering support of the people have bolstered the morale and effectiveness of the armed forces in achieving dominance.
Indiaโs Claims Dismissed as Baseless
Tarar rejected Indiaโs accusations linking Pakistan to the Pahalgam incident, asserting that New Delhi has presented no credible evidence. โTheir narrative is falling apart โ the international community can now see through their propaganda,โ he remarked.
Pakistan Commended for Responsible Conduct
Concluding his remarks, Tarar said Pakistan has maintained the principles of warfare even under provocation. โWe exercised restraint where needed, and responded decisively where required. Indiaโs humiliation lies not only in its failed aggression but also in the fact that it now stands before the world under a raised white flag,โ he declared.
