YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as “Ducky Bhai,” has been booked for exhibiting “extreme carelessness and recklessness” after a video surfaced showing him driving a car using only his feet.
The incident came to light on Saturday, based on a first information report (FIR) filed at Chakri police station in Rawalpindi on April 19. According to the FIR, around 3:20 PM, Rehman uploaded footage to his social media platforms, displaying himself operating a vehicle without using his hands.
The report detailed that Rehman’s actions were dangerously irresponsible, posing serious risks not only to his own safety but also to the lives and property of other travelers on the motorway. Authorities cited his behavior as an act of endangerment, emphasizing that such stunts could have led to catastrophic consequences.
The FIR further stated that the YouTuber’s conduct amounted to vandalism and justified legal action. He has been charged under Article 67 of the National Highway Safety Ordinance (NHSO) 2000, which addresses reckless or dangerous driving, as well as Section 279 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which pertains to rash driving on public roads.
Officials underscored the dangers posed by such reckless behavior, especially on busy highways where high-speed traffic increases the risk of serious accidents. The case highlights growing concerns over social media influencers engaging in risky activities to gain online attention, often at the expense of public safety.
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to enforcing strict regulations against such acts to deter similar incidents in the future. Legal proceedings are expected to follow as the case moves forward.
