TTI news echoes in Senate Standing committee

Senate Standing Committee on Information took notice of news published in The Truth International. According to TTI story, Ten Sports is owned by Indian entertainment company Sony group, Senator Mushahid Hussain mentioned.

“While India is trying to destabilize Pakistan, how come Indian backed channel is operating in Pakistan, “ said Mushahid Hussain

“Ten Sports is operating in Pakistan by local company Towers Sports,” said DG Licensing PEMRA

DG Licensing PEMRA also mentioned that this company is registered in SECP.
This company got the security clearance from the Ministry of Interior & security agencies in the past, said PEMRA official
He also added,

“However now we again seek security clearance from ISI and IB on this issue”


On the occasion Chairman Committee Faisal Javed said,

“Indian backed channel operations in Pakistan is totally unacceptable,

ISI, IB and MI should brief us on this issue by November 19″
