KARACHI: A suspected case of mpox was reported at Jinnah Hospital, Karachi, on Saturday.
According to hospital officials, the patient, a resident of Shah Latif Town, was admitted after his wife exhibited symptoms of mpox. The patient was placed in the isolation ward while awaiting test results.
The Sindh Health Department confirmed that samples from the patient have been sent to a private hospital for testing, and the authorities are awaiting the results.
