A court in Lahore has issued arrest warrants for actress Nazish Jahangir and several others in connection with a fraud-related case.
The case, filed by a resident of Defence Housing Society, accuses Nazish Jahangir, Sikandar Khan, and others of fraud, breach of trust, and issuing threats.
Following the complaint, the court directed the police to arrest the accused and present them before the court on March 22.
A few weeks ago, Nazish addressed the controversy, dismissing the allegations as a premeditated attempt to blackmail her and tarnish her reputation.
Speaking on a talk show, she described the situation as a well-orchestrated scheme, stating, “Something happened outside of the media—something worse and strange. It was a failed blackmail attempt designed to damage my reputation. People with no credibility use such tactics to extort money from privileged individuals like us.”
