Model and actress Nadia Hussain has publicly apologized to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) following her earlier accusations involving one of its officers in a bribery case. Nadia clarified that her intent was never to defame the agency, but to bring to light a fraudster who was allegedly misusing the name of a senior FIA official to extort money.
Speaking to the media after recording her statement at the FIA Cybercrime Wing, Nadia explained that her complaint was directed at an individual who posed as an FIA officer in an attempt to demand a bribe from her.
Clarification and Apology
“I want to make it clear that I never intended to hurt anyone’s feelings or malign the FIA in any way. I deeply apologize if my statement offended any officers of the agency,” Nadia Hussain stated. “However, I stand by my complaint and I urge the authorities to take strong action against the fraudster involved.”
She stressed that her primary concern was the scammer’s misuse of a senior FIA officer’s name to extort money. “Such fraudulent activities cause even more harm to the public, adding to their distress. It is critical that the authorities act swiftly to curb these kinds of scams,” she added.
Nadia’s comments came in response to a viral video where she had alleged that an FIA officer had demanded a bribe following her husband’s arrest in a bank fraud case. This prompted the FIA Cybercrime Wing to take action and seek court approval to conduct a forensic examination of Nadia’s mobile phone, which has now been seized for investigation.
Cooperation with the Investigation
Nadia Hussain confirmed that she had submitted relevant evidence through the FIA’s online portal and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation. She emphasized her commitment to helping expose fraudsters and ensure they are held accountable.
The FIA, in turn, summoned Nadia for further questioning, where a detailed statement will be recorded regarding her accusations. The agency assured the public that all legal procedures will be followed, and appropriate action will be taken based on the forensic analysis of her phone and the evidence provided.
Nadia concluded by urging the FIA to act quickly to protect innocent citizens from falling victim to scams like the one she experienced. “It’s important that these fraudsters are caught before they can hurt more people,” she said.
In her apology, Nadia reiterated her desire to help protect others from similar fraudulent schemes, underlining that her aim was always to expose wrongdoing, not to tarnish the reputation of an entire organization.
