Nelle Diala, a former flight attendant for Alaska Airlines, has spoken out about her termination after filming herself twerking at work, calling the decision “unfair” and “discriminatory.”
In an interview with Inside Edition, Diala expressed surprise at how her attempt to “boost her spirits and energize herself” for the day turned into a controversy. “I didn’t think that being so happy could lead to something like this,” she said.
The incident began when Diala posted a TikTok video, now set to private, in which she was seen dancing on an empty plane at 6 a.m. while waiting for a delayed captain. The video quickly gained attention, leading to her dismissal from the airline.
