Ramzan Working Hours
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially announced the revised office timings for the holy month of Ramzan, as per a notification issued on Saturday. These adjustments have been made to facilitate employees and the general public while ensuring smooth banking operations during the month of fasting.
According to the details provided in the notification, SBP’s offices will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM from Monday to Thursday.
However, on Fridays, the office hours will be shortened, with operations running from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM without any break.
Alongside these changes, SBP has also updated the public dealing hours for banks across the country. As per the revised schedule, banks will facilitate customers from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, allowing uninterrupted financial transactions and banking services.
On Fridays, public dealing hours will be reduced, with banking services available from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM without any breaks.
The adjustment in working hours during Ramzan is a routine practice aimed at accommodating both employees and customers who observe fasting.
The shorter office hours ensure that banking services remain accessible while considering the well-being of staff and customers during the sacred month.
It is important for businesses, organizations, and individuals to take note of these updated timings to plan their banking transactions accordingly.
Since Fridays have a reduced schedule, customers are advised to complete their urgent financial tasks earlier in the week to avoid any inconvenience.
SBP’s notification serves as an important update for financial institutions and the public, ensuring a smooth workflow while aligning with the spiritual and practical needs of Ramzan. These changes will remain in effect throughout the month and will revert to regular office hours after Eid-ul-Fitr.
