Air Commodore Noman Ali Khan reflected on Pakistan’s response to India’s aggression in February 2019, describing it as a calculated and deliberate act of retaliation.
Speaking on a private TV program, Khan discussed the success of “Operation Swift Retort,” calling it a flawless execution that left a lasting impression on India.
He stated, “The operation was carried out with precision, ensuring that India would never forget the response it received.”
Khan explained, “When the enemy made their move on February 26, 2019, there was no question of not responding.”
Regarding the nature of the attack, Khan emphasized that Pakistan’s strike was carefully planned to avoid civilian casualties. “When their aircraft appeared in front of us, we had no choice but to act,” he said.
Reflecting on India’s reaction, Khan noted, “India was shaken by Pakistan’s strike. In their panic, they attempted a counterattack without proper preparation, which ultimately led to them shooting down their own helicopter.”
