Ashley St. Clair has filed a paternity lawsuit against Elon Musk, seeking sole legal custody of her newborn son, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
The 26-year-old woman claims in her petition that she began a relationship with the 53-year-old SpaceX CEO in May 2023, and that they had an intimate encounter on or around January 2 and 3, 2024. She believes this led to the conception of her son, whose birth date and full name have been redacted from the documents, although his first initial is listed as “R.”
St. Clair is confident that Musk is the father, asserting in her filing that she “did not have sexual intercourse with any other male during the time the child was conceived.” As part of the legal proceedings, she has requested the court order a genetic test for Musk to confirm paternity.
The lawsuit includes several text messages between St. Clair and Musk, which she claims demonstrate their relationship and Musk’s acknowledgment of his role as a father. One of the messages shows St. Clair sharing a photo of herself holding their newborn in the hospital, to which Musk allegedly responded, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.”
In addition, private messages between the two were recently made public, revealing conversations about various intimate subjects. St. Clair has stated in her filing that she is not currently seeking child support from Musk, though she has requested a temporary financial support order for their child.
