The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned the Chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) tomorrow at 10:30 AM to address a petition seeking to halt the upcoming CSS 2024 exams before the announcement of results.
During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani postponed the case until tomorrow. Petitioners, including Hamza Javed, were represented by their lawyer, Advocate Ali Raza.
The petitioners argued that the FPSC had uploaded admission certificates on February 4 without considering their objections. Additionally, the commission issued the duty roster on February 3, which indicated the scheduling of new exams.
Justice Kayani noted that the court had initially refrained from suspending the exam schedule, instead referring the matter to FPSC for reconsideration in accordance with judicial orders.
Advocate Ali Raza stressed that this decision affects over 3,000 candidates. The court has scheduled the next hearing for tomorrow (Tuesday).
