Abducted Khuzdar Woman Found; Police Call on Protesters to Clear Road

Police in Balochistan’s Khuzdar have successfully recovered a woman who was abducted earlier this week, urging protesters to clear the road.

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Khuzdar’s DIG Sohail Khalid explained, “The recovery was made on technical grounds.”

The woman, Aasma, was abducted in the early hours of February 6 from her home by a group of 15 to 20 women, as reported by her brother.

In response, Aasma’s family had blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway to protest the abduction, demanding her immediate release and the arrest of the kidnappers.
