The local police in Sujawal have successfully arrested two suspects linked to a mobile phone snatching incident involving a foreign couple. The incident occurred five days ago when the couple was held at gunpoint by the suspects.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), the police managed to recover both stolen mobile phones from the arrested individuals. Despite the arrests, one suspect is still on the run. The police are currently conducting extensive raids to locate and apprehend the remaining fugitive.
The victims, Polish national Kowalczyk Jakub Tomasz and French citizen Scantamburlo Marie Elisabeth, were targeted by muggers near the Sujawal bypass five days ago.
According to police reports, the couple was robbed of their mobile phones during the incident.
