The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has granted bail to over 250 individuals involved in the protests that took place on November 26, with 13 registered cases linked to the unrest.
In a recent decision, the court rejected bail applications for 150 other suspects. The ruling was delivered by District and Sessions Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain, who considered a total of 436 bail requests in connection with the protests.
Among those granted bail were 18 suspects from the Bani Gala police station, 43 from the Kohsar police station, 9 from the Shahzad Town police station, and 17 from the Nowshera police station.
Bail was also approved for 70 suspects from the Aabpara police station, 30 from the I-9 police station, 13 from the Margalla police station, 25 from the Sihala police station, and 30 from the Shams Colony police station.
