Zaain Accuses Bayaan, Hasan Raheem, and Rovali of Plagiarizing Debut Song

Pakistani singer-songwriter Zaainul Abideen has alleged that his debut hit song, Chue Chue, has been plagiarized in the recently released track Maand by Bayaan, Hasan Raheem, and Rovali. The new song was launched under Sony Music Entertainment.

Originally released in 2009, Chue Chue garnered widespread popularity, propelling Zaain’s music career and earning him a nomination for Best Singer of the Year at the Lux Style Awards in 2010.

Zaain claims Maand closely mimics the melody of his song but with altered lyrics. He expressed frustration over the lack of permission, acknowledgment, or credit for his original work. Highlighting the emotional investment in his debut track, he voiced feelings of betrayal and disappointment.

He also raised concerns about a growing trend of popular artists allegedly appropriating songs from lesser-known musicians. Zaain called on Sony Music Entertainment and the accused artists to take responsibility and credit original creators appropriately.

Zaain has reached out to his fans and fellow musicians for support in his fight against plagiarism, emphasizing the need to protect artists’ rights and creativity. He urged listeners to compare both songs and decide for themselves whether his claims are valid.

As of now, neither Bayaan, Hasan Raheem, Rovali, nor Sony Music Entertainment has responded to the accusations.
