SRSP

In a significant initiative aimed at youth empowerment, the Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) has launched a two-month Youth Digital Entrepreneurship Training program under the directive of the Deputy Commissioner.

The program is being conducted in the district, targeting 30 participants from both local youth and Afghan refugee communities. It is designed to equip participants with the latest digital skills necessary for achieving self-sufficiency and building careers in the modern technological landscape.

The training sessions, held three days a week, integrate practical and theoretical learning in a state-of-the-art facility. This blended approach ensures that participants gain not only advanced technical skills but also hands-on experience essential for success in the competitive business environment.

The comprehensive curriculum covers a range of topics aimed at fostering entrepreneurial thinking and enhancing technical capabilities.

SRSP Program Manager Rais Khan visited the training center to engage with the participants and review the program’s progress.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, he underscored the significance of the initiative, highlighting its potential to enhance the professional skills of the youth, create new employment opportunities, and strengthen community ties.

He emphasized that such programs play a pivotal role in empowering marginalized communities and promoting social harmony.

Rais Khan further remarked that the initiative aligns with broader goals of economic stability and sustainable development.

By providing young people with the tools they need to excel in the digital economy, the program contributes directly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to education, employment, and community development.

This training represents a proactive step toward addressing unemployment and fostering self-reliance among youth. It also highlights the importance of inclusive development, as it equally involves local youth and Afghan refugees.

The program exemplifies SRSP’s commitment to creating opportunities for all segments of society and fostering a brighter future through digital innovation and entrepreneurship.
