NLC and Belta Mosh Service
ISLAMABAD: The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) of Pakistan and Belta Mosh Service, Belarus’ leading logistics operator, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday to strengthen cooperation in transit logistics operations. Belta Mosh Service, with over 25 years of expertise, is the largest logistics operator in Belarus.
The signing ceremony took place in Islamabad during the Pakistan-Belarus Business Forum. Major General Farrukh Shehzad Rao, Director-General of NLC, and Dmitry Kolivalan, representing Belta Mosh Service, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The event was attended by Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, senior government officials, and members of the Belarusian delegation.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between NLC and Belta Mosh Service as preferred logistics partners in Pakistan, Central Asia, and beyond. Both organizations aim to provide secure and efficient transit services for international road transport cargo, enhancing regional connectivity and streamlining logistics operations.
Earlier, Pakistan and Belarus signed eight memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements on Monday during ministerial-level discussions following Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenkoโs arrival in Islamabad for a three-day official visit.
President Lukashenko landed at the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and other senior officials.
