Pakistani team showed a stunning performance today by defeating Australia by nine wickets in the second One Day International match in Adelaide Oval stadium on Friyday.
Pakistan completed the target of 164 runs in 27 overs by losing just one wicket.
Abdullah Shafique and Babar Azam ended the match after gaining victory. Opener Saim Ayub was the only Pakistani batsman to lose his wicket in this match. He made 82 runs.
Earlier, the Australian team was all out 163 runs in the second One Day International match with Pakistan on Friday. Australian’s innings ended in just 35 overs. To win this ODI, the Pakistan team will have to complete the 164-run target.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf claimed a remarkable five-wicket haul, leading Pakistan’s bowling attack as they bowled out Australia for just 163 runs in the second ODI at Adelaide Oval.
The Rawalpindi-born pacer, who had taken three wickets in Pakistan’s narrow loss in the first ODI, was in outstanding form again, tearing through Australia’s middle order after Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s captain, opted to bowl first.
Rauf’s impressive performance was set up by Shaheen Shah Afridi, who dismissed both Australian openers, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short, in his opening spell with the new ball.
It was also a busy day for captain Rizwan behind the stumps. He equaled the world record by taking six catches in an ODI innings and nearly claimed a seventh, but he dropped a high catch offered by Adam Zampa off Naseem Shah’s bowling near the end.
Australia’s chase began shakily, with openers Jake Fraser-McGurk and Matthew Short dismissed within the first four overs, leaving the hosts at 28 for 2. None of the Australian batsmen could stay on the wicket for a long time.
For today’s game, Australia welcomed back Josh Hazlewood, while Pakistan fielded an unchanged lineup.
