Members of the Pakistan ODI squad for the upcoming series against Australia have arrived in Melbourne.
According to a statement from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the remaining players are scheduled to depart for Melbourne today.
Prior to the team’s departure, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the newly appointed white-ball captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha. This meeting aimed to prepare them for leading the team in the forthcoming ODI and T20I series against Australia and Zimbabwe.
Naqvi extended his best wishes to both leaders, expressing optimism for strong performances in the international fixtures.
Emphasizing the honor of leading Pakistan’s white-ball side, Naqvi highlighted the trust placed in Rizwan’s leadership. “Captaining the Pakistan team is an esteemed responsibility,” he stated. “
