Karan Johar’s response to Chahat Ali Khan’s Toba Toba left fans scratching their heads

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar recently caught fans off guard with his reaction to Pakistani singer Chahat Ali Khan’s rendition of “Toba Toba,” which he shared on his Instagram.

His unexpected endorsement has left social media users intrigued, especially given the mixed reactions the cover has received.

Chahat Ali Khan, known for his unconventional interpretations of popular songs, has stirred up quite a buzz online. His latest version of “Toba Toba,” originally featured in Vicky Kaushal’s film Bad News, has drawn a spectrum of responses, with some praising his creativity while others have voiced their disapproval.

Karan Johar’s response stood out as he encouraged his followers to “definitely check out” Chahat’s version, sparking widespread curiosity. Meanwhile, the original artist of the track, Karan Aujla, expressed his discontent with a tearful emoji and the comment, “Uncle, please don’t.”

Chahat’s take on “Toba Toba” features altered lyrics and music, alongside visuals of the Taj Mahal, enhancing the appeal of his reimagined track.

His comedic style continues to attract attention, with his earlier parody of “Toba Toba” quickly gaining traction on social media, leading to humorous reactions from fans.

Many joked that both Karan Aujla and actor Vicky Kaushal were left “in tears” after hearing Chahat’s unique rendition. The quirky remix, paired with a lighthearted video, entertained viewers, with some even urging Kaushal to dance to the new version.

Chahat’s rise to viral fame began with “Bado Badi,” which amassed 28 million views before being taken down due to copyright issues. Despite this setback, he has successfully solidified his presence as a digital creator, and “Toba Toba” further cements his popularity in the online comedy music scene.
