“I will come back,” he writes, a statement that has struck a chord with many online, eliciting both laughter and admiration for his straightforward approach to career changes.

Letter Highlights

The undated letter, originating from Nsuta Wassa, Ghana, conveys the employee’s sentiments: “I have gotten a new job with a company, and I would like to try that place too. In case it doesn’t work out, I will come back.” He expresses gratitude toward his current employer, particularly thanking the management team and singling out “Mr. Nappo” for his support. He concludes by wishing the company success.

The employee’s candidness quickly captured attention online, eliciting a mix of humor and praise. One user quipped, “He’s not burning bridges; he’s building a roundabout!” Another joked, “I’d love to see HR’s face when they read that!” The lighthearted reactions continued, with comments like, “He’s taking ‘leave the door open’ literally.”

Others appreciated the employee’s confidence in admitting he might return. “Bold move! Most people wouldn’t dare say that,” noted one user, while another added, “You’ve got to admire the confidence. He’s keeping his options open!”
